Review | Finishing Touches False Nails

One thing I never get along with is acrylic nails that you get at the nail bar, whenever I get them I think they look really tacky on me and they hurt and damage my real nails so much!
So after having bad experiences, I started looking at the false nails they sell in Boots and Superdrug. I never really heard good things about them either as I was told they always fall off, look fake or are not the right size, but I took a chance a bought a small pack of Finishing Touches which are exclusive to Superdrug. When buying the small pack I got 24 nails and went for the short, pink length as I don't like my nails too long and they cost me £5.49. These nails already had a french manicure style to them so i didn't have to paint over them.
I started to really like these nails so yesterday I decided that it was probably better value to buy the big pack of 216 nails which included extra strong nail glue and a nail file and only cost £6.99. I could only get medium length, natural colour in the big pack of nails which put me off at first, but I took the chance as I thought I could always file them down if i didn't get along with them.

When opening the pack it all looked very exciting and I couldn't wait to put them on! I love finishing touches, which are exclusive to Superdrug, as they always stay on for at least one week and feel so comfortable. When taking the nails off they do damage your nails a little, but no where near as much as acrylics do from the nail bar! When applying the medium length nails I was happily surprised to find that the length wasn't too long and they looked fairly natural as to what I was expecting at first.

No nail vanish, straight after applying them

The great thing about having the natural nails is that you can apply any nail vanish to them and create any look you want. The nail vanish does slightly stain the nails so once putting colour on them you can't get the natural colour that you started with back. If i'm being honest, I really liked the look of nails straight after applying them, I think they looked very natural and even had a tint of french manicure! But being adventurous I decided to paint them to see what they looked like with a bit of colour...

Finished nails!

Overall I liked the natural colour of the nails better and next time I put them on I would definitely just apply a clear coat on top to make them extra shiny instead of applying any colour to the false nails.
I'd give these false nails a 10/10 as the price is great value, the nails look great and they last for a good length of time. If you love false nails I would highly recommend you try these and I would definitely use them instead of going to the nail bar in the future!

What do you think of them?
